It is nice to know that we will get cover at the back four after Carvalho move to Real Madrid in early season. what a relief. and it is up to david luiz to play at his best and fulfill his potential as hyped in the media. but the question here is, is chelsea really need torres? after recent slump and off-form performance show by the squad, it is great to have the proven world class striker who can play well in EPL. Torres's scoring pedigree in English football is without doubt. The 26-year-old netted 65 goals in 102 league appearances for Liverpool and 81 in 142 games in all competitions. and please bear in mind that he done all of these statistic with prone injury label tagged on him.
but again, chelsea not really need a striker right now. chelsea need players who can deliver more balls. who can create chance and through ball. and who can give a spark of creativity in the middle. chelsea can go and buy palermo ace, pastore for 50mil. or they can make a swap of Hamsik if they want, but they make a deal to buy torres. how will torres fit in chelsea line up? Goal.com say thay chelsea will say 4-3-3 with drogba, malouda and torres upfront. but we know that drogba is not a type of player can play adrift to the wing in order to create space for team mates. he is a beast and he play better in penalty box. we know that ancelotti is a big fan of diamond formation. and with torres in his disposal,we know he can use again that formation.

but will torres give chelsea Champions league trophy this season? i hope so, but again it depend with his condition. he is injury prone player. last season, he miss almost half of season with Liverpool when nursing his hamstring injury on the sideline. there are 14 games more left in this season for EPL. if he can stay fit for all of the games including the CL games, maybe we can have a shot to win the CL because EPL is already out of hands. next season? i better hope torres can play at least 19 games. and these games include all of the games against the top fout team and hope he will score in all of those games and win.
But honestly, the fact that torres force his way to get out of liverpool to join chelsea is disgraceful. really. for three seasons, fans of Kop standing behind his back, give full support to him when he play bad in away games and give a wish you get well soon when he is injured. there is no such players a bigger than a club. at least he can shows respect and responsibility to his contract at liverpool. as chelsea fan, i hope he will not repeat the same behavior again. it is not me who pay his salary, but i am a fan. and with all of others fan, we create something so called a club.
who can blame them? it is natural to act like this when someone you think as a hero became a traitor
